Heading Home

December 9, 2023

I ordered our tickets for the Dublin Express bus that would take us to the airport. Final checks on the room, and we left to head to the Wellington Quay stop to wait for the Dublin Express bus. We were there for an earlier bus, so we took it. Once at the airport and through security, we waited in the main waiting area since our flight gate was not posted yet. I went for a hot chocolate at Starbucks, and Gwyn went and looked at the gift shop. We waited for a while. It was now 10:30 and our flight was at 11:30. There were signs for US Preclearance, and the monitor said something about CBP. Customs and Boarding Processing. So, we headed down that way, and that was correct. Went through customs, and it was not busy. Our gate was 411, and it was listed as final call. We ran towards the gate, but there was a line, and we then could walk. We got onto the plane, and it was not busy like the flight over. They served lunch, and a snack before we landed.

Once on the ground in Boston, I ordered the tickets for Logan Express, and we headed out, since we had already gone through Customs in Dublin. We waited a bit for the bus, and got on. Amy would be at Framingham at 2:11, and we would be getting there almost at the same time.

It was a fun trip, but we need to have some other things to do for the times we visit the Christmas Market cities.
